Verizon Wireless will soon launch a new messaging phone called the Pantech Jest, a slider phone that offers a 2.6 inch display, 2mp camera, slide out full QWERTY Keyboard, Optical Keypad with swipe, Web browser, VZ Navigator, and provides direct access to social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, & Myspace. The Pantech Jest is said to hit the Verizon Wireless stores on July 5th for a price of $69.99 with a 2 year contract and a $50 mail in rebate. The Pantech Jest looks to be targeted to the teenage crowd as it writes an insane amounts of texts, IMs and provides status updates.
